1. Subcommittee update (10)

a. Any response to membership structure?
i. Legal:
ii. Legal will discuss membership structure tomorrow
iii. $440.15 in checking account
iv. Dec 7th is our first Happy Hour at SPTR—sell bracelet ($10), which
will get you half price draughts and maybe some food specials
v. have name tags, brochures for the event. Should we make sure
there is food there?
vi. Outreach:
vii. civic meeting presentations are starting soon—powerpoint created
viii. trying to get a table for 2011 Food Trust farmers markets—maybe
sell bulk food
ix. visited Kensington Community Food Co-op community forum
x. Outreach in agreement of membership structure

2. P’unk Ave and logo design (10)

a. invite Geoff to a meeting to discuss the logo

3. Vote: Incorporation recommendation from Legal/Finance (15)

a. vote has been tabled for tonight
b. incorporating earlier protects the committees and individuals from liability
c. would we need leader insurance to protect committee leaders from
liability
d. are we ready for incorporation or is it too soon? Maybe wait until we are
collecting member equity?

4. “Fall” Membership meeting – time, place, and content? Should we have an ad-
hoc subcommittee iron out details? (15 - 20)
a. SPOAC? Library?
b. plan it for Jan/Feb 2011?
c. maybe have vendor tables from local businesses at some point? Keep it
simple for first meeting.
d. food potluck
e. ad-hoc committee pulled together to help plan it

5. Education Topic: History of Food Co-ops (Mary Beth) (15)

a. document is on Google Site

6. Anything else for discussion? (15)

a. Benefit Corporation?
7. Set date and time for Dec 13 meeting.
a. Will we be ready to vote on membership structure? Including equity
amount?
b. Next up: Fundraisers and Feasibility Study!
8. January 10th and 24th---co-op case studies (try to fit 2-3 per meeting) – John,
Alison and MB on the 10th, Maria on the 24th w/Julia
9. Have a January ‘check-in’---how are we feeling?
