MINIMUM PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Post Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualification ( | Passed 12 (#2 stage) or its equivalent examination along with desired sports | achievement. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions. For recruitment international Championships/events are categorized as undi Category-A + Olympics Games (Senior) Category-B + World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior) World Championships (Junior/Senior) Asian Games (Senior) Commonwealth Games (Senior) Youth Olympics Davis Cup (Tennis) Champions Trophy (Hockey) ‘Thomas/Uber Cup (Badminton) Category-¢ : Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior) South Asian Federations Games (Senior) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior) World University Games 4.2 For the posts in Level 2/3 of Pay Matrix of Vil CPC (PB-1 Rs. 6200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/2000 in VI CPC) norms will be: () Represented country in the Olympic Games. ol (i) Represented the country in any of the Category-B championships/events. OR (ii) Obtained atleast 3” position in any of the Category-C Championships/events. (iv) Obtained atleast 3° position in cious "National Championships. (Senior) & Inter State Athletics Championships (Senior). (8) In Badminton, the following are also considered: - (@) Current All India Ranking ‘ge Category | Event | Current Annual Allindia Ranking | Singles __| Upto 20" position Seniors Doubles | Upto 4” position. Youth Singles | Upto 6" position Juniors Singles _ | Upto 6" position (Note: Only the current All India Ranking shall be considered for these purposes. For the purpose the highest ranking may be considered valid for one year for the purpose of recruitment. Ranking in mixed doubles is also considered). (b) Representation of India A and India Under-19 Team in 2 Test Matches or in 2 Limited ‘Overs One day International Matches or in 2 Twenty-20 Overs Matches. (©) Quarter Finalist in Senior/Under-23/Under-19 All India Inter State Elite Group ‘Championship and All India Inter State Championst (@) Participation in Senior/Under-23/Under-19 All India Senior Inter-Zonal Championship. {D) In Weightlifting, achievements in old Weight category in 77 Kg against 81 Kg event notified and Old Weight category in +105 Kg against +109 Kg notified will also be considered for trials. {E) _In Table Tennis, the following are also considered: - ‘Age Category |_Event_| Current Annual All India Ranking _| aac Singles — | Upto 20" position Doubles | Upto 4" position Youth Singles _ | Upto 6" position Juniors, Singles | Upto 6" position (Note: Only the current All India Ranking shall be considered for these purposes. For the purpose the highest ranking may be considered valid for one year for the purpose of recruitment). (F) In Hockey, the following sports norms are also considered: - (a) Participation in International tournaments (Senior or Junior) of four or more nations. (b) Semifinalist in Senior National Championships are also considered. All the above championships should have been conducted under the aegis of recognized Intemational/National/State Sports Federations and also recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB). Alll the recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) shall be at the minimum of the scale of pay. PERIOD OF RECKONING SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS: The candidates must be active sports persons and the achievements will be reckoned during the immediate 2 (two) years period i.e. on or after 01.04.2017. For this purpose concluding day of the championship/event will be taken into account. Performance in the earlier championships, i.e. prior to 01.04.2017 will not be taken into account. AGE LIMIT (As on 01-01-2020): The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 01.01.2020 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 02 January 1995 and not later than 01° January, 2002. No age relaxation is permissible. NOTE1: The candidates should note that, only the Date of ‘as recorded in the Matriculation’ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate as on the date of submission of applications will be accepted by the administration. NOTE2: The candidates should also note that, once a Date of Birth has been claimed by them and entered in the records of the Administration for the purpose of admission to the examination, no change will be allowed subsequently on any grounds whatsoever. EXAMINATION FEE/ EXEMPTIONS: () [The examination fee for all candidates except those mentioned in para (i) below Rs.600/- (Five Hundred only) with a provision for refunding Rs.400/- to those who actually appear in the trials.
