“I Am” Poem

Ms M's example:
I Am
I am active and passionate
I wonder where I will be in ten years
I hear the memory of laughter
I see a future full of possibility
I want to make the world around me a better place
I am active and passionate

I pretend that I'm as fast as the wind

I feel tired of things not changing fast enough
I touch ocean waves
I worry that all I work for won't be enough
I cry when I watch sad movies
I am active and passionate

I understand that I affect more than I realize

I say people should believe in themselves
I dream about having a huge garden someday
I try to keep a positive attitude
I hope to learn something new everyday
I am active and passionate
