ABSTRACT

The study entitled MUSA ACUMINATA (BANANA) AS FACIAL MASK was

conducted to determine the acceptability of MUSA ACUMINATA (BANANA) AS FACIAL

MASK in terms of texture, odor, colour. This study helped us had another acceptable and

convenient kind of facial mask. Banana are particularly good source of different kinds of

(BANANA) AS FACIAL MASK bowl, spoon, grinder, and camera for documentation were

materials used. Peel off the banana and slice into small pieces about 2 cups. Then grind

the banana until it finely crushed. The other details is on the page of Materials and

Methods. After mixing all the ingredients put the made product to the skin. Based on the

acceptability of MUSA ACUMINATA (BANANA) AS FACIAL MASK in terms of texture it

gained numerical mean of 4.06 with a description of agree. In terms of odor it has a grand

mean of 4.03 with a description of agree, and in terms of colour it gained numerical mean

of 4.04 with a description of agree. And based on the Analysis of Variance all the

parameters were accepted therefore the MUSA ACUMINATA (BANANA) AS FACIAL

MASK can be potential mask. Based on the result of the study, it was found out that the

acceptability of MUSA ACUMINATA (BANANA) AS FACIAL MASK, thye grand mean has

a description of agree in terms of texture, odor, and colour. According to the Analysis of

Variance there are no significant difference between the treatments employed when it

comes in texture, odor and colour.

INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

Some people, especially girls improve the overall appearance of their skin, they

can also be quite therapeutic when they’re infused with aromatic essential oils like mint

and rosemary, according to Debra Rose Wilson oily skin is the result of the overproduction

of sebum from sebaceous glands. Too much sebum, however, may lead to oily skin,

which can lead to clogged pores and acne. Still, home remedies often reduce symptoms

without the use of prescription drugs or expensive skin care regimens.

Regular face masks help to keep your skin surface and our pores unclogged.

Cleaning each day helps to clean your skin by removing dirt, oil, makeup, and impurities

from the surface skin.

Banana is an elongated usually tapering tropical fruit with soft flesh enclosed in a

soft usually yellow rid. It is also any of several widely cultivated perennial herbs bearing

bananas in compact pendent bunches.

These study will help us to have another acceptable and convenient kind of facial

mask. Banana are particularly good source of different kinds of vitamins and usually how

in calories. Purpose of banana is to have a new product of facial mask that can easily be

sold.
