My thoughts on …..

 Lesson planning is all about knowing your learners. Knowing your learners will help you write
activities in the lesson plan which suit to them.
 Lesson planning makes the flow of the lesson more uninterrupted.
 Lesson planning serves as the blueprint for pre-service teachers—to attain the goals in
objectives and to have proper assessment in evaluation.

Lesson plans give me the confidence to discuss the topic since doing lesson plan is studying your
lesson in advance. They are done so that the lesson which are given to the students have proper
directions. As a teacher, I need to prepare a lesson plan so that the students will feel that the lesson that
are given to them were in proper sequence.

 The number consideration in preparing instructional materials is the learners. The teacher as a
bridge between students and knowledge, must take in count different aspects of his/her students:
Experiences, Aspirations, and Learning needs
 The teacher always must be realistic in class when they use the materials.
 Teachers must take in count and be mindful of the copyrights laws when they are designing
materials. It is important to clarify that the materials can be extracted from websites, text books,
published works, etc.
 Teacher needs create the materials for class according to context.
 It is important to be aware of the time that teachers get on creating materials. Time has been
taken as a disadvantage for teachers who want to create their own materials to fill this gap there
must be teacher teams to create various materials and obviously those materials need to be
available for anyone.

My reflections page 62

 Instructional materials must be used to attain the instructional objectives. They are part of the
educational technology that have a respective educational purposes. They help the teacher for
the improvement and effectivity in teaching-learning process as well as to the progress and
development of the learners. In selecting the materials to be used, it's also important to consider
the different guidelines that should be needed to become effective and efficient in using it.
 I need to prepare instructional materials so that we are always be prepared. Also, we need to bare
in mind the different ways on how to select and use the different instructional materials. It is
necessary that we should use an appropriate materials for our learners or in accordance to the
level of their learning and styles. It should also attainable wherein it can successfully attain the
learning objective that we set. But of course, we cannot deny the fact that the best and effective
instructional material is the teacher himself.

1. Maintain high congruence between a particular item and the key objective.
The key objectives must be clearly defined.

 The item-stem should clearly formulate the defined problem.

 Construct each item to assess a single objective.
 State the stem in positive form (in general).
 Include as much of the item as possible in the stem.
 Keep the alternatives similar in length.

1. Assessment tools are...

 they provide diagnostic feedback.
 help educators set standards
 evaluate progress
 relate to a student's progress
2. I considered.....
Changes in the skills base and knowledge our students need require new learning goals
because these new learning goals change the relationship between assessment and instruction.
Teachers need to take an active role in making decisions about the purpose of assessment and
the content that is being assessed.
