I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

1. Identify the different types of cleaning tools.

2. Indicate the different functions of the cleaning tools.

3. Appreciate the importance of the right tools to use in cleaning a personal computer through their
functions.

III. PROCEDURES:

A. PREPARATION:

- ROUTINE:
 Prayer
 Greetings
 Checking of attendance

B. MOTIVATION:
- Show pictures of different things and ask students how they clean it.
C. PRESENTATION:

 ACTIVITY:

FIND THE PARTNER: Identify and find the function of each cleaning tools just by looking at the
picture. Write your answer below the picture.

Compressed Air
- Used to blow away dust and debris from

components.

Cable Ties
2. - Used to bundle cables neatly inside and outside of a
computer.

Lint-free Cloth

getting mixed together.

- Used to test the integrity of circuits and the quality

- Used to test the functionality of computer
ports.

 What will happened if we use improper hand tools?


 What could be possible output if we used proper hand tools?

Ask the following questions:

 What have you learned from our topic?


 Why do we need to identify the purpose of the basic usage of the hand tools?
 What could the problem that will occur, if we used improper hand tools?

IV. ASSESSMENT:

- In a 1/2 sheet of paper crosswise. Identify the basic hand tools and provide the purpose in using the tools?

V. ASSIGNMENT:
- List down at least ten (5) examples of input device and (5) examples of output device of a computer. Place your answer on one
fourth sheet of paper. Be able to pass it next meeting.
