N-Pro Kumite WKF 1.2.2

1- Installing

Use the installation file to install the software on the computer.

To show the external scoreboard you need to have a second screen. You must extend your screen to the right. (Do not use the
duplicate screen option !) This is easily done in the screen setup of your computer (Windows).

We recommend that the second screen has a ratio of 16:9. Other ratio’s will work but the scoreboard is optimized for this 16:9
ratio. You don’t have to change the resolution. The software does this automatic.
When starting the external board without having a second screen attached, you can close this screen by clicking the tatami
number.

2- Setup

Open the setup screen by clicking setup. Close the setup screen by clicking close in the setup area.

- Sound
The software comes with 4 standard wave sounds. You can select them at this part. Press the search button and select a sound.
The standard sounds can be found in the installation folder. The sounds can be tested by pressing the left button.

- Scoreboard correction
If the external scoreboard isn’t displayed correctly you can give in some corrections. The horizontal and vertical scale and the
font size can be changed.

- Winner
Setting the “Winner kumite by xx points” defines what the difference in points must be, to be declared winner during the match.

- Mirror
The internal and external board can be mirrored by checking the mirror options.
The external board will close while checking the external option. Restarting it with start scoreboard, will then display the
adapted screen.

3- Using the WKF board

The kumite scoreboard complies with the 2012 WKF rules.

The external scoreboard is started by pressing “start scoreboard”. The external scoreboard is displayed mirrored because the
scoreboard is placed towards the tatami. This can be changed in setup.

With the function field number you can change the tatami number. Fill in the number and press set.
The match time can be changed manually. Using reset time will change the time to the given match time. Using extra time will
automatic change the time to 1:00.
The 60 second timer is used if contenders have 60 second to be ready for the match. The referee will indicate this.
By using reset match, all scores, penalties and time will reset to start position.
The close button will close the screen.

The penalties given by the referee can be checked at the control panel. They automatic show up on the external screen.
4 penalties in one category will result in ending of the match and the end signal will be played. The score of the winner will blink.
The penalties can be corrected by simply un-checking them.
The scores given by the referee can be checked at the screen.
Ippon is 3 points, Waza-ari is 2 points and Yuko is 1 point.
With the “-1” button you can correct the score.
The first to score can be checked with “Senshu”. When the score after the regular time is equal, the first to score wins the
match. The winners score will blink.
The match ends when there is a (standard) 8 points difference. (This can be changed in the setup screen.) The winners score will
blink and the end signal will be played. The match also ends if the timer hits 0. At 10 seconds before time end, a warning sound
will be played. At match-end the end signal will be played. The score of the contender with the highest score will blink.
Adding a score after the match has been finished, will stop the blinking of the external scoreboard.

With the up and down arrow, you can make a quick correction in the timer time.( in case a mistake has to be corrected)
You can start/stop the timer by pressing the “s” key on your keyboard. This will not work when the setup screen is opened.

When the K.O. timer is used the referee will determine who wins. Both scores blink after the 10 seconds of the timer have past.
A sound signal will be played at 3 seconds before ending and at the end (at 10 sec.)
