I. INTRODUCTION

“The family that prays together stays together”. This statement is a well-
known quote that defines a family living meaningfully in God graces and guided
by positive values. The basic unit of society is the family. In this group, where
parents and siblings belong, a child is greatly influenced. His immediate family
member are his first-hand influences as he comes to his senses. Basically
though his toddler years, he adopts the values and attitudes that he observes
in his family members.
Obviously, when a child enters formal education, most of his time is spent in
school. Hence, it is in school where most experiences and exposures are met.
It is in school where more values and attitudes are known and develop.
The teacher plays a major role in the development of these values and attitudes
together with the first-hand experiences of the child with his classmates &
friends in school.
In our school, everyday lessons are not only prepared and taught in school but
also activities are designed not only to teach pupils good values and attitudes
but also to let them learn through personal experiences as well.
We also integrated and discussed the Child Policy Protection of Department of
Education in every classroom for our students’ awareness of this policy. We
gave them some reminders about what will happen to them if they will be caught
in the act of bullying their classmates or even their school mates.
We also inculcate our students every morning in our flag ceremony the
importance of having a good values by discussing the monthly values assigned
to us. We gave some examples and asked some questions on how they will
react feel and show some of the values we imparted to them.
As we can see it, our students are well behaved and very knowledgeable about
the values that they have to possess as a good human being.
II. DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED

To achieve the main purpose of this activity which is to open the minds of the leaners
to the teachings of the Holy Bible, STO CRISTO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL created
different programss in which learners will be able to learn from the Bible and showcase
their skills and potentials through the implementation of different activities as follow:

 Bible Study
 Bible Quiz Bee
 Slogan And Poster Making Contest
 Role Playing
 First Friday Mass

III. INVOLVEMENT OF STAKEHOLDERS

Faculty, learners, parents and stakeholders were involved in different activities.

Teachers especially advisers were tasked to assist the learners in bible study, role playing
and Mass. Parents support all their children and encourage them to read the bible every
day.

IV. IMPACT OF ACTIVITIES

This project enlightens the learners about the importance of the bible and inspired
them with the different character of the bible. Learners were motivate to pray and reflect
before and after reading the bible.

V. ISSUES AND CONCERNS

The program was successful. Some of the learners don’t know how to read the
bible specially the chapters and verses.
VI. RECOMMENDATIONS

I only suggest that parents should boost their children to read the bible every day
and should have a quality time with them learning the word of God.

VII. BEST PRACTICES
