Environmental education provides awareness and learning opportunities to

student about real world issues that is beyond classroom walls. This does not only
include knowing relevant social affairs but also taking part in studying and making
actions, even little ones, to improve the situation.

It is necessary to note that there are laws dedicated into protecting and
preserving the environment such as National Environmental Awareness and Education
Act 2008 that promotes environmental awareness through environmental education,
Republic Act No. 9003 that provides an ecological solid waste management program so
on and so forth. These laws were created to secure the future of our environment.
There are laws dedicated into protecting the land, bodies of water, the air and its quality
and even the resources that can be found in them.

Being environmentally awoke is a paramount characteristic a person must have

because our minute actions, collectively, can produce a significant effect to the world.
The simple act of reducing our carbon footprint via limiting the amount of clothes we iron
or even performing carpooling is a great help. These laws partnered with our ability to
participate in raising environmental education will ensure that there will still be an earth
for the future generations.
