Presentation (10’) - Review the theory of CONDITIONAL SENTENCES – TYPE 2. - Talk about the forms, usage of
- Ask students to talk about the form and usage of conditional sentences type 2 conditional sentences type 2
- Provide students with the inversions of conditional sentences type 2 - Copy down
- Ask students whether they have any questions - Ask questions if necessary
- Give feedback and comments - Listen - Take notes.
* Form:
If + S + V( Past subjunctive) , S + would / could / might + V(inf)
be were
* Usage: unreal situations in the present
* Inversion:
Were + S + …, S + would / could / might +V(inf)
Ex: - If I were rich, I would buy that villa.
 Were I rich, I would buy that villa.

Practice (34’) - Deliver the handouts with exercises - Do the exercises.


- Ask Ss to do the exercises.
- Ask some Ss to write answers on bb.
- Give feedback.
Homework (1’) - Ask Ss review the conditional sentences type 2 - Take notes
- Write 5 sentences using CONDITIONAL SENTENCES – TYPE 2
