An organised and adaptable professional with considerable working experience in various office
environments My attention to detail and excellent time management skills means that every task
is completed efficiently and to the highest possible standard. I have a calm and patient disposition
meaning that I am able to work effectively under pressure and focus on the task at hand. I work
well in teams, but also independently with accurate, fast keying skills and sound knowledge of
computer applications. I have proven ability to collect and manage information efficiently and
accurately as well as armed with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong
desire to work hard and perform well. Skilled in planning and organizing with the ability to
complete tasks on deadline. An independent worker who successfully meets the challenges of a
fast-paced environment providing data entry and administrative support to a large department.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

2018

Data Collector/ Enumerator, Uganda National Roads Authority

In this role, I assisted in the capture and generation of relevant data. My duties were to sort data,
create statistical models, administer surveys, deliver presentations and reports, clean data, make
corrections, and do basic statistical work.

 Pretested the data collection tool (questionnaire) to ensure reliability and validity of the
tool as well as ensure that the data collected from the pre-test and actual field is the same
(consistency).
 Worked hand-in-hand with the Coordinator to review survey logs and ensure the most
efficient procedures were being used.
 Reviewed, edited and analyzed the data and compiled a final technical report which
ensured completeness and accuracy of information gathered.
 Assisted in the preparation of findings for publication and developed research protocols
to track progress over time.
 Maintained accurate records of interviews carried out and safeguarded the
confidentiality of subjects for privacy reasons.

Carried out a socio-economic survey on resettlement action plan on Bumbobi-Lwakhakha road


project.

 Crosschecked collected data for proof that all records are filled before submitting to the
Supervisor. This ensured that data collected was accurate.
 Planned and budgeted for the data collection activity and interacted with community
members with the highest level of professionalism and respect and clearly explained the
study rationale comprehensively and effectively answered questions from the public
about the study.
2017

Parish Supervisor, Electoral Commission

While here, I administered electoral activities in Butiru town council, Busumbu ward LCI, and LCII
and women council Committee elections to ensure that they were fair and free in line with the
Commission’s mandate.

 Conducted voter education in the subcounty to ensure that people understood the need
to participate in the voting process since they are the affected parties. This helped to
improve on the number of people who turned up for the actual voting.
 Issued voter location slips and updated the voter’s register which helped to make sure that
people who turned up for voting actually did vote since they have the right
documentation to do so.
 Assisted in mobilizing people to turn up and participate in the electoral activities by
conducting publicity and providing the relevant information to the voters when, and as
need arose.
 Made election activity reports to the Returning Officer and was responsible for the
conduct of nominations, campaigns and pooling day activities.
 Participated in the recruitment and training of registration display and polling day officials
who oversaw the voting process to ensure it ran smoothly.
 Provided information and statistics on voter registration, voting and elections as well as
ensured that election materials reached polling stations in time and equipped polling
stations appropriately.

2015

Supervisor, National Identification Registration Authority

During my tenure here, I oversaw the workflow during the registration process by coaching,
resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management to ensure the
success of the process to meet the organization’s mandate.

 Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that complied with the organisation’s
plans and vision and effectively communicated them to subordinates.
 Effectively organized workflow and ensured that employees understood their delegated
tasks which helped them to carry them out according to the expectations hence targets
were met.
 Monitored employee productivity in Makenya parish, Sisuni sub-county Manafwa district
and provided constructive feedback and coaching where necessary. This helped to
ensure that excellent services were offered.
 Received complaints and resolved problems in an efficient and timely manner which
ensured that each person was satisfactorily attended to which resulted into big numbers
turning up for the registration process.
 Ensured adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertook
disciplinary actions, if the need arose.

Enrolment Officer, Electoral Commission

While here, I was responsible for enrolling/entering data accurately regarding details of the
applicant for the purposes of issuing registration forms and guide applicants through the update
and transfer processes.
 Confirmed accuracy of information captured by re-checking the data in the system for a
final review before submission. As a result, this helped to ensure that data submitted was
accurate and up to date.
 Ensured that the biometric data was captured in an effective and accurate manner as
well as of good quality which eased the identification process during voting.
 Endeavored to ensure that updated kits are in safe custody of equipment and materials
as well as the batteries for the enrolment kit are kept charged at all times to avoid
unnecessary delays.
 Carried out any other duties assigned to me in Bunyinza parish, Bunabwana sub-county
Manafwwa district.
