Section: ________________________ Dategiven:12-03-18 Class #__________________
Objective: Apply the theorems related to angles of a triangle; Use the exterior angle theorem to find the measure of angle
of a triangle.
INSTRUCTION: Define each term, draw an example figure that correspond to the term. Use pencil, protractor and ruler
when drawing. Typewritten, computer generated or handwritten, additional 5 points for handwritten. Keep your paper
neat. Pass on 12 – 05 - 18

A. True or False. If the statement is always true write true. Otherwise write false.
_________1. If a right triangle has two congruent angles then it must have 45 angles.
_________2. If a triangle is a cute then it has two acute exterior angles.
_________3. If it is possible for a triangle to have two obtuse angles.
_________4. The sum of the measure of any interior angle of a triangle is equal to 180.
_________5. The sum of the measures of the interior angles of a triangle is equal to the measure of its exterior angle.

2. Find the measure of either of the exterior angles formed by extending the base of an isosceles triangle if the vertex
angle of the triangle measures 40.
3. Find the measure of the vertex angle of an isosceles triangle if either of the exterior angles formed by extending the
