JUNIOR CHAMBER
INTERNATIONAL
JCI is a worldwide community of young active citizens
ages 18-40 who share the belief that in order to create
positive change, we must take collective action to
improve ourselves and the world around us. Engaging
in activities ranging from community development to
international projects, members demonstrate their
social responsibility and improve themselves through
participation, leadership and action

WHAT IS JCI - INDIA
• JCI India is a voluntary organization, membership
based NGO working in India since 1949 for
developing the leadership skills of young men and
women of this country.
• A worldwide federation of young leaders and
entrepreneurs founded in 1944, having
headquarter at Chester Field USA.
• Currently it has over 200,000 active members
and more than one million graduates, in over 100
countries and 6,000 communities.
• JCI India is the Second largest Member Nation of
Junior Chamber International. Currently we are
active in more than 26 states and union territories
across India.

JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age

18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating
impact in their communities. Active citizens are
individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers
active citizens from all sectors of society. We develop the
skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed
decisions and take action.

JCI offers many opportunities for Management, Training.
Such opportunities include holding an office at local, state, regional,
national or international level of the organization.

BUSINESS OPPURTUNITIES
A wide and effective network is the backbone of any successful
business. Millions of members spread across over 120 countries
provide ample opportunities to take one’s business to newer heights
with better contacts, exchange of ideas, work out on partnerships etc.
JCI gives you various platforms to brand yourself and enrich your
business through various training programs and seminars.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT OPPURTUNITIES

Opportunities for personal development are offered under the
Individual Development area. Seminars in Leadership skill
Personal dynamics, Effective communication and Goal setting
help members to speak effectively, learn leadership skills, improve
communication abilities and enhance their personal development.

Ultimately in life, you are not counted by what you achieve,
but what you gave. JCI provides you immense opportunities
to serve the society, address the problems of our locality
and provide sustainable solutions forit. You alone may not

may plan projects that will help community and mobilize
like-minded people from within and out of our organization,
join hands with them and through partnership with various
private and public administrative bodies, we can make a
huge impact.
INTERNATIONAL OPPURTUNITIES

The members get a chance to break the barriers of the country

we live in, and to get to know how things happen in other parts of
the world. We get to know people from across the globe, and a
healthy exchange of culture akes place, which goes a long way in
affirming world peace. Every member of this organization has the
opportunity to be a part of the international events that take
