The Trellis - inspired from Milan, Italy. It is a part of the renovation of BulSU Rizal Park in order for it to
have a landscape with a new concept. According to the BulSU Building and Ground Management Office
(BGMO), who supervises the renovation, it is designed according to the preference of Architect
Lobregat, who happens to be practicing his profession in Milan. He innovated it to compliment the
statue of Rizal. It is fully sponsored by the BulSU Alumni Association. It is a framework of light wooden
and metal bars. People can study or simply hang-out under the covered part.
The flap pole of the school located at the north entrance of the park. The height of the pole
seems to look short because trees beside are almost same height.
The base of flagpole look like a clay that just placed in tiles in the middle and seems to be
inappropriate design for its importance to the university.

The west side of the park seems to be hotter on afternoon than the east side because the sunlight can
directly enter and trees not divided equally, resulting to accumulate few students in the park on east
and covered area.
Some plants surrounding the monument does not survive because students teds to sit and walk on the
planted area because that area is covered by trees and other one is not.

The Bulacan State University monument is located in the south-west corner of the park. Measures 1.75
meters from the ground. Welcoming the people who enters the university.
