Strength

Money is our strength because we have our own sources, for example our savings. We
have also money in a card bank that we can use for our business. Material is our strength because
our materials are easy to find and much cheaper than the other materials that other businesses
used. Another internal factors of our strength are the machines, we have already a sandwich
maker so we considered it as our strength to our business. And lastly, the method that we use in
our business. It is easy to make bunswitches. The first thing that we should do is to prepare all
the stuffs like slice cheese, vegetables, meat, and mayonnaise and put it between the buns (bread).
And there, it is easy to make and can be serve immediately.

Weakness

Manpower is our first weakness because we’re only 5 business owners. As business
owners, we can also be an employee in our own business because we don’t have other people
that will manage or run the business, that’s why it’s our weakness. Management is our second
weakness because we don’t have any experiences to run a business. And lastly, our weakness also
is the moment because as a student there are many paper works to pass and classes to attend.
We don’t have vacant time to manage our business.

Opportunities

Technological, global environment, socio-cultural, peace and order, population trend,

political/legal environment are opportunities for our business. Technological because, we can post
online as our endorsement or online selling. Global environment because our product will only be
sell inside the University. Socio-cultural because everybody can eat the bunwitches. Peace and
order because since it is should be sold inside the LNU the guards can help implement peace.
Population trend since there are lots of students inside the campus that will help our profit grow
and will help our products to be sold. Political / legal environment because we have permit to
operate and we do not violate the rules and premises of the University.
Threats
Natural environment is one of our threats because of the natural calamities like typhoon and
floods. Because of that, we will not be able to operate our business. Government program is also
our threat since it will only be implemented for one week and will only be sold in LNU nobody will
help except from the management. However, we considered economics as our threat because
economic is also our threat since our business belongs to micro category, we cannot afford to hire
a service crew who will manned our food stall while the management is not available and has a
class.

Opportunities and Strength

The opportunities that we have are the following: We can post online for our products therefore
technological is our opportunities. We can also have online selling for those who are interested to
order. The products will only be sold inside the campus therefore, global environment, peace and
order, political/legal environment is also our opportunities. We do not violate any rules that was
stated in our handbook. In addition, since there are lots of students inside the University, there
would have greater chances of earnings. However, one of our strengths is the money, each
member has its contribution for the business. Since we need materials that are cheaper these are
just easy to find. In addition, we also have our bunwitches maker that will help to lessen the
expenses of the management. Bunwitches is just easy to make hence, we consider methods as
one of our strengths.

Opportunities and Weakness

We can post online for our products therefore technological is our opportunities. We can also
have online selling for those who are interested to order. The products will only be sold inside the
campus therefore, global environment, peace and order, political/legal environment is also our
opportunities. We do not violate any rules that was stated in our handbook. In addition, since
there are lots of students inside the University, there would have greater chances of earnings.
However, we have there 3 threats which one is natural environment, where in, if there would be
a typhoon our food stall will be damage. But we can overcome this threats because of our
opportunities which are global environment and peace and order. Since we were only given one
week for implementation and will only be sold inside the University, there would be no worries
about calamities. Another threat we have is the government programs, since our business is only
a micro business no program of the government will support us but the management will
overcome this because each member has its money to support. Lastly, economic is also our threat
since our business belongs to micro category, we cannot afford to hire a service crew who will
manned our food stall while the management is not available and has a class.

Weakness and threats

We consider manpower as one of our weaknesses for a reason that we are only consists of
five (5) members in our group and in that case, it will hinder us to accomplish our task. Regarding
with management, all of us do not have experiences in managing a small business that is why we
also consider management as our weakness. We can’t handle a small business without the
knowledge of management. Another is moment, we are all students and we’re classmates. If ever
there’s a time that we will have our exams, no one will duty on our stall and it with that, we would
not be able to meet our target.

On the other hand, we also consider threats like natural environment and government
program. What makes the natural environment a threat is about due to unexpected calamities like
typhoon, floods, etc. and in that case it will have an impact to our microbusiness that will lead to
loss. Another is the government program, since our micro business is exclusively within the
campus only, we can’t seek assistance outside the school if ever we encounter problems regarding
with our business.

Strength and threats

Strengths are considered as factor which exist in the internal environment of a business
whereas threats are considered also a factor which exist in the external environment. Threats like
Government Programs in our business can be considered also as strength because perhaps they
will help or provide grants to small businesses like ours. The Government Programs like
“COOPERATIBA or Cooperative” will help us to borrow for money capital, or even materials and
machines.
