This is it! A category of industry leading
engines that have been designed with
Australian boaters in mind.
The new F130 is the Yamaha engine
Changing the game. Australian boaters have been waiting for.
The new F130 shares the same engine
block as the brilliant F115 while inheriting
ignition, injection and throttle technology
previously only found on Yamaha’s larger
horsepower engines.
The F130 utilises a mechanically controlled
electronic throttle valve. Working in
turn with the sequential electronic fuel
injection and direct ignition system to
ensure incredible responsiveness through
the RPM range. This system also makes
fine adjustments based on operational
conditions to deliver optimum performance
while ensuring peak efficiency. The result
is awesome; power, performance and fuel
economy that will exceed all expectations.
The new F115B delivers bigger engine
capacity and more torque than the
previous F115 model. A weight reduction of
15kg makes this an even more remarkable
achievement. The F115 utilises a bigger
engine bore, increasing from 79mm to 81
mm as well as a big bore throttle body to
deliver responsive acceleration and great
top end performance.
Yamaha’s 1.6L F100 and F80 are engines
that have always exceeded customers’
expectations in terms of both performance
and fuel economy. This exceptional range
of engines has now been expanded to
include the F90. The addition of the F90
gives Australian customers more choice
and a great power option specifically
for boats rated to a maximum of 90
horsepower.
All three engines utilise a 16 valve, double
overhead camshaft design for superior
efficiency as well as a single throttle valve
along with an intake silencer for whisper
quiet operation. To keep up with today’s
growing electronic requirements in small
boats these engines feature a 20 amp
alternator, which generates effective
change as low as 550 RPM and reaches 20
AMPS at just 1000 RPM.

For easy starting, first time every time,
Yamaha’s Prime Start System delivers
the optimal amount of fuel for combustion
to each cylinder according to the engine
temperature. The auto decompression
system fitted on F15, F20, and F25, pull
starting these engines in manual start

For ease of use in shallow conditions all
manual tilt engines in this range feature a
2 step shallow water drive function as well
as adjustable trim. For more convenience,
electric start models are available from
F15 up with power tilt models from F20 up
and power trim and tilt available on the F25.
Engine operation is made easy with a front
shift and a bigger throttle grip, while for
power tilt F25 and F20 models, the stop
switch and power tilt switch are installed
on the tiller handle.
For a portable outboard to be great, it

powerful. With the F9.9 and the redesigned
F8 with 7.5% more displacement, Yamaha

Light and compact, Yamaha’s portable two
strokes are designed so you can take them
just about anywhere. With proven reliability,
a portable Yamaha two stroke allows you
to hit the water with ease and get to your
Lightweight Power favourite fishing spots. These engines are
also great power options for tenders or
auxiliary power for sailing vessels.
For manoeuvrability both the 4 and 5
horsepower engines have full forward
neutral and reverse gear. The 3 horsepower
utilises forward and neutral with 360 degree
steering for reverse while the 2 horse
power operates in forward gear with 360
degree steering for reverse.
Both the 4 and 5 horse power variants
are fitted with an internal fuel tank while
also having the ability to connect to an
external fuel tank for more range. The 2
and 3 horsepower units are fitted with a
convenient internal fuel tank making them
the ultimate in lightweight portable power.
