PREFACE

With all the praise and thanks to Allah SWT who has given His love and mercy, given
us ease to finish this paper titled “Administration Behavior in Organizations” on time. The
paper is structured to meet one of the tasks of Introductions to Administration and Management
course.

On this occasion, we would like to thank profusely to all who have been helped us in
the writing of this paper, Bu Ruri Nurul Aeni Wulandari as lecturer for giving us motivation
and support and also friends who have contributed their ideas for writing this paper.

We are fully aware that there are many flaws in writing of this paper, in terms of
material etc. Therefore, we expect criticism and constructive suggestions to fix the writing of
this paper.

Finally, we hope that the writing of this paper can be useful for readers.

CHAPTER 1

PRELIMINARY

1.1 Background
Organizations in a group of people who deliberately united in an efficient
collaboration in order to achieve the goals set (Soedjadi). While administration is the
whole process of cooperation between two or more people based on certain
rationalities in order to achieve predetermined goals by utilizing certain facilities and
infrastructure in an efficient and effective manner (Sondang P. Siagian). In order to
achieve goals in organizations, administration is required in organizations.
Organization and administration are two things that can’t be separated. Therefore, we
need to understand administration in the scope organizations.
1.2 Formulate of the problem
1. How is the behavior of administration in organizations?
2. What is the role of organizations as a social interaction process?
3. How can someone have the desire to enter organizations or to organize?
1.3 Aim of paper
1. To understand the behavior of administration in organizations
2. To understand the role of organization as a social interaction process
3. To understand the reason why people have the desire to enter organizations or to

CHAPTER 2

THEORITICAL STUDY

2.1 The behavior of administration in organizations

The behavior of administration take effect to the development and the progress
of organizations. An effective and efficient administration behavior will affect to the
dynamics of organizations in realizing its main duties. Administration behavior need
participation of other people in an organization. Without participations as respond, it
means that there is no controlling cooperation to achieve a certain goal. Human is the
main factor in administration, because human is the one who control and be controlled.
Therefore, administration and organizations cannot be separated because they are very
tangible and continuous to each other.

2.2 The role of organization as a social interaction process

The role of organization as a social interaction process is very important


because in organization we learn how to interact with others. Furthermore, interaction
also make us learn to cooperate so the social interaction goes well and could achieve
the goals set which is a function of an organization.

2.3 The reason why people have the desire to enter organizations or to organize

There are several reasons why someone has the desire to enter organizations.

1. Social reason
As a creature who likes to be in group, human always wants to
communicate with others. That’s why human makes organizations so they
can communicate with others easily.
2. Material reason
Human also entering organizations for material reason. Through
organization, each people can do three things below:
a. Able to enlarge his abilities
b. Able to compress the time required to accomplish and objective
through an organization
c. Able to take advantage of the accumulated knowledge of previous
generations.

3.1 The result


From the discussion before, we can conclude that administration is needed in
organizations. Both of it cannot be separated because they are connected to each
other. Without administration, the goals set in organization will not be achieved.
