    Intro

    The movie we watched is a film adaptation of the novel The Danish


    Girl published in 2000, based on (not a completely true story) the life of Lili
    Elba/Einar Wegner. It was directed by Tom Hooper and it was released last
    November 27, 2015 in United States of America.

    The movie depicts the life of transgender people back in 1920s, back
    then being a transgender means you’re an insane person or you might be
    schizophrenic, and also other people might even harass you for being a
    transgender.

    Summary

    The movie revolves around the life of Einar Wegner and how he became Lili
    Elbe. During that time period surgery is the only way to help Einar fulfill his desires. With
    the support from his wife, Einar undergoes the sex-change operations which consist of
    2 surgeries, the first surgery was successful, but Lili wanted to have a baby someday so
    she undergoes another surgery, which is
