Check in

Baggage allowance
Find out how much baggage you can take and learn about flydubai's baggage policies.
Hand baggage rules
• Economy Class - You can carry one item of hand baggage that must not weigh more than 7 kg.
• Business Class - You can carry two items of hand baggage that must not have a combined weight exceeding 14 kg.

• Each item of hand baggage has to be smaller than 55 cm x 38 cm x 20 cm.

• You must be able to lift your own hand baggage into the overhead locker.

• If the storage available on board your flight is limited, you may be asked to check in your hand baggage at the gate.

• In addition you can carry one small laptop bag, one small handbag/satchel or one duty free shopping bag and this bag must be
smaller than 25 cm x 33 cm x 20 cm and must be placed under the seat in front of you. If you are seated in the first row or in an
exit row seat in Economy Class, bags must be stored in the overhead locker.
• Baggage exceeding the permitted allowances must be checked in and the relevant baggage fee will apply.
Checked baggage rules
• You can check in up to 3 bags but the combined weight must not exceed the allowance applicable to your booking.
• You can check in bags from 3 hours to 60 minutes before the departure time of your flight.

• No single bag should be larger than 75 cm x 55 cm x 35 cm or weigh more than 32 kg.

Credit card payments

Transferring between Al Maktoum International (DWC) and Dubai International (DXB) and vice versa
If your travel itinerary requires a transfer between the airports in Dubai, you'll need to enter the UAE (clearing customs and
immigration) and collect your checked baggage. Please check whether you need a visa to enter the UAE and ensure you have
sufficient time to travel to your departure airport.
