Introduction
Siomai is one of the most famous street food in the Philippines and it is undeniably
all over the country. It is not actually from the philippines. Siomai,a traditional Chinese
made of egg noodle wrappers with meat.(Hsuing,2001,p.36). Now that siomai has
become a part of Filipino culture, Filipinos also made their own version of siomai.In
every part and corner of the philippines you can find different tastes and look.
In Robinson Lipa, siomai is one of the food you can find there. As the years passed
siomai vendors in Robinson Lipa have evolved a lot in different aspects. For example,
in the taste of the siomai, quality and price.There’s a lot of factors that affect the
evolution of the siomai vendors.We will seek information on how their business
in doing a business in the near future.The importance of this study is to help young and
future entrepreneurs in managing their business.It could help them to strategize their
future business and help them to grow their business. Students like me who wants to
start a business can help us to improve and evolve are future business, whether it’s a
food business or not.In this research, we can find out the factors that can affect a
business that we might encounter in the future. It will help us to be more ready and
prepared because we will have an idea of growing a business. We can use this research
needs and wants. In the future we can adapt the knowledge and help us make a lot of
The goal of this study is to know the evolution of siomai vendors in Lipa Robison
Lipa as of 2019. We will conduct this research in Siomai stores in Robinson Lipa at the
first quarter of 2020. The aspects that we will study is the evolution and innovation of
their product. We will also look into their customer service, especially in their regular
ones.This research will be done in a short period of time. The collection of data will be
done in a small size of customers, and only those who eat there since the start of 2019.
The respondents in the interview are the selected regular customers that help us collect
information in making a conclusion.Those customers who do not eat there from the
start of 2019 are not within the scope of our research. We will not cover the revenue of
the siomai stores because of the lack of statistical data. We will only look into the good
things, why their customers stay and expanded that help their business grow.
This research study will assume that all respondents are going to give a clear and
elaborated response. All respondents are all regular customers that knows different
tastes and kinds of siomai. All of them are regular because of a specific customer
service or taste of the siomai. We assume that there will be no bias answers, but only
answers that came from an experience. The study will assume that the answers given by
the respondents will help in finding out the evolutions that happen during the year
2019.
Before continuing doing this research, we should know the meaning of these words
that we might encounter. Siomai is a street food that can be found anywhere and it can
be eaten as a snack or a side dish. Regular customers are those who always buy in the
store frequently. Customer Service is how employees treat their customers. Business is
a work that can manage by one or more people.It depends on how many people are
