A well-qualified and experienced retail professional with wide knowledge of selling
techniques in retail business. Very good communication skills and a BSc degree

Work Experience:
October 2010 – September 2011 Sales Assistant at Shell Tubshill
In this role I served customers, worked the till system, took deliveries, stocked
shelves and undertook general cleaning duties. Working quickly as part of a team to
ensure customer-waiting times were kept to a minimum. I was also the nominated
first aider for the shop and this required training and review on regular basis.
October 2011- April 2014 Duty Manager at Shell Gatwick North
In this role I was responsible for running shifts, dealing with customer queries, Cash
Management this includes cashing up and sending to the bank and booking invoices.
I was the designated key holder this involves opening and closing the premises and
setting the alarm.
May 2014- Present Duty Manager at Little Waitrose Brighton Road
In this role I am responsible for running shifts, dealing with customer queries,
Ordering includes online and over the phone, Stock Management and Cash
Management. I finished all the trainings that needs to a duty manager.

Skills Developed
 Communication- developed through regularly interacting with customers,
listening to their needs/concerns responding in an efficient and accurate way.
 Customer service – developed through a strong belief that the ‘customer is
always right’. An example of this is where a customer needs help finding an
item, if it is not available on the shop floor, which is not on the shop floor I
would go to the warehouse to source it/order it in.
 Teamwork – this is an essential skill in my role. An example of this is where a
college needs help with a task I am proactive and assist them with completing
the task.
 Time management – I have several duties as part of my job and I find I have
to manage my time effectively to fulfill all my duties. Such as my duties
include cashing up and ordering and also replenishing stock for whole
sections of the shop and I must manage how long I spend on each so all
duties be fulfilled.
