ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. Basic Information

Title: COUNCIL SCOUT JAMBOREE 2019

Date: November 26 to December 1, 2019
Venue: San Alfonso, Cateel, Davao Oriental
II. Rationale:

The Department of Education embraces the ideas of scouting in schools especially in the
primary and secondary levels, through DepEd Order 76, s. 2012 re: Guidelines on
Revitalizing the Boy Scouting Movement in Schools. “The Scouting Movement, through
the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), is an effective program in leadership training
and values formation of every child. The main objective of this Program is consistent
with the Department’s mission to enhance, support, and develop boys into well-rounded
individuals with exemplary character. The BSP have, so far, produced leaders who are
true to the Scout Oath and Law.
III. Objectives:
- To develop in scout’s personality traits of good character represented by the Scout Law
- To help the student-scouts realize their responsibilities in citizenship by understanding
their obligation to other people, society, and government
- To develop fitness of body, mind, and moral values.

Participants - 20 student-scouts and 3 Adult Leader-Teachers
