Compare two primary values and one classical virtue from part D2 individually with three

of the top five values from the Clarifying Your Values exercise.

My classical virtue is justice, which means that, making sure all individuals in the society are
treated fairly and fair-mindedly. In addition, to seeking moral maturity, I am aware of that I must
embrace justice, making sure that all people in the community are treated in the same way and
listening to what my heart says to show compassion for those influenced by my decision. Seeing
the issues brought by self-importance and injustice, I look for balance in my duty’s to justice to
make my activities to be adequate inside a given setting. Likewise, I endeavor to control my
intolerance through creating sympathy for other people.

Compare two primary values and one classical virtue from part D2 individually with three
of the top five values from the Clarifying Your Values exercise.

When I make a comparison between my core values and classical virtues on the ELI, clearly, I can
see the easy matches in justice, temperance and obedience, all of them related with self-control as
well as the balance of self-desires and the desires of other people in the society. Another related
example could be, equality and teamwork, both of them focus on selflessness and benefiting a
larger group or team. This because of that equality emphasis on the greater community and on the
other hand, teamwork refers to a number of individuals who working together in order to achieve
common goals. Other things that, I think could go along with my primary value are honor- respect,
loyalty, and esteem, I always seek the greatest good for myself and other individuals around me.
However, I don’t need any rewards for that but instead I would love when they respect, honor and
validate my qualities.
