II-BSED/ GENERAL SCIENCE
I. OBJECTIVES CARD

A. Identify the different parts of

female reproductive system.
B. Describe each parts of female
reproductive system.
C. Determine the function of
female reproductive system.
II. INTRODUCTION CARD

Teaching teens about female reproductive system

is an uncomfortable and intimidating task for
anyone especially for males. Taking this topic in a
scientific approach will relieve much of a stress.
Reproductive organs apply to everyone. This is
the anatomy of our bodies and from a scientific
standpoint, it’s not any different than discussing
the heart as it is, so it’s essential to give them
accurate information in a controlled environment.

The external structures of the female reproductive

system include the clitoris, labia minora, labia
majora and Bartholin's glands, according to the
Cleveland Clinic. The major internal organs of the
female reproductive system include the vagina
and uterus — which act as the receptacle for
semen — and the ovaries, which produce the
female's ova. The vagina is attached to the uterus
through the cervix, while the fallopian tubes
connect the uterus to the ovaries. In response to
hormonal changes, one ovum, or egg — or more
in the case of multiple births — is released and
sent down the fallopian tube during ovulation. If
not fertilized, this egg is eliminated during
menstruation.
III. GUIDE CARD

Mr. Robot, Can I have a question about why

do we need to learn female reproductive
system?

Mr. Catt, although you’re a male esp. to females, it is important

that we have knowledge about female reproductive system as
we can know how to take care of this part of our body and to
prevent diseases. You’re a male and this knowledge will be
helpful to your mother, sister, and to your future partner
someday.

Yes, you’re right Mr. Robot! Now, I should pay attention

more and not make fun of it or feel uneasy about learning
it, but how can I learn it without feeling uncomfortable?

Don’t worry Mr. Catt, I will be providing some activities that

will help you not become uncomfortable when learning it.
You must just put in mind that this is like any other system in
the body that has its specific important functions.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it Mr.

Robot. Now, I want to learn more about
female reproductive organs.
