Leverage Technology
Pre-evaluation Scenario
Bisleri operated under 4 different regional set-ups. Here is a short account of the improvements they desired
when they envisioned the concept of One Bisleri:
HCM across these 4 units was being done on excel sheets, some of which were close to
being a decade old and some even older! The aim was to move this process away from
being manual and tedious.
To match pace with the rapid rate of development and leverage new age technology in
the HR space, need for complete automation of processes was felt.
In order to make the whole HCM process more streamlined by automating data flow
from a single source of truth; critical functionalities like payroll had to be integrated.
Hence, the need to move away from the standalone payroll administration solution -
Webpay.
As One Bisleri came into existence, Bisleri International was formed and these 4 units were merged. EY was
working with them for transforming the HR processes during this consolidation exercise when the need for an
HRMS was also recognized.

EVALUATION
Key internal stakeholders at Bisleri in consultation with EY, chose Darwinbox after a thorough evaluation of other
similar solutions in the market. While being value for money and highly configurable played a major role, it was
being a one-stop solution for HR management that included payroll that ultimately sealed the deal. Darwinbox
was chosen over other global HCM suites like SF because of the integrated payroll functionality.
Today, Darwinbox is critical to the realizing the firm’s vision because it ensures implementation of policies and
overall good governance. It has proved to be a catalyst in moving towards the vision of One Bisleri.
IMPLEMENTATION
TIMELINE
Within a timeline of 90 days which also included extensive in-person training at 3
locations, Darwinbox was implemented at Bisleri.

b. Biometric integration has been successfully done for 2500 employees across
122 locations.
c. 40+ different shifts have been mapped in the system, which has simplified
the day to day transactional aspects of HR management.
The team was quite helpful in helping us migrate to Darwinbox. The features bring in
best practices in HR and will help us improve our business over a period of time. In
fact, this implementation proved to be one of the key elements of our change
