“TERKIS Green-DD PLUS” Waste Water/Sewage Treatment-Recycling Zero Waste)

Process is a combined British and Filipino Technology, which start treating sewage
from its source using an Automatic Grease Recovery Unit to minimize operation
and maintenance cost, using TERKIS Green-DD Organic Concentrate to replace
expensive aeration process in a traditional STP, using a centrifugal filtration System
that do not have moving parts to wear and tear, and no filter media to clean or
replace, using an extra Sediment Spin-Down Filter with minimal maintenance cost
and finally disinfect using a Chemical Free, Power Free and Maintenance Free
SILECTE PLUS disinfection media which is the easiest to use, most environmentally
friendly disinfection media in the World.

In our very Unique Process:

1. We will make sure that all Kitchen Areas must have properly sized-up Automatic
Grease Recovery Unit. AGRU automatically separates Fat, Oil & Grease (FOG) from
Kitchen Waste to prevent them from interring the Septic Tank, to minimize and
stabilize Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) level in the 1st chamber of the Septic
Tank.
Separating solids (rice, vegetables, pulses) and grease from the
wastewater at source ensures that he contact time between solids and
wastewater is kept to a minimum, so that the wastewater does not
absorb additional organic pollutant loads (starch, carbohydrates,
proteins) due to leaching of these substances from the solids. (Rather
than building a larger STP to digest this extra organic matter, it is far
more economical to prevent the organic matter from entering the STP or
Septic tank.
3. Shock Dose the 1st Chamber containing Raw Sewage with TERKIS Green-DD
Organic Concentrate

Biological STP needs AIR to maintain a high population level of beneficial microbes.

Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) - Normally, the biodegradable material in the

sewage consumes oxygen when it degrades. If this sewage is released in
lakes/rivers, it would draw naturally dissolved oxygen from water, depleting the
oxygen in the lake/river. This causes death of fish and plants. But if the STP
provides enough oxygen to digest the biodegradable material in sewage. The
treated sewage does not need oxygen any longer. Thus it does not affect the
aquatic life in lakes and rivers.

Instead of using Aeration used in a traditional STP, we use TERKIS Green-
DD Organic Concentrate

Terkis Green-DD is an organic concentrate that contains facultative

anaerobes which are organisms that can survive and respire if oxygen is
present but is also capable of switching to fermentation or anaerobic
respiration if oxygen is absent.
It contains beneficial microorganisms and enzymes that are capable of
degrading of FOG (fats, oil & grease) without the release of obnoxious
gases.

4. Dosing Tank & Pump

To maintain the desired F/M (food &

Microorganism) Ration, instead of Aeration,
we dose automatically using a dosing pump
TERKIS Green-DD Organic Concentrate in the
1st Chamber. Dosage depends on the Sewage
Flowrate, Volume of the Reactor/Contact
Chamber of the Septic Tank.
5. The Hydro-Cyclone Centrifugal Water Filtration System
The Multi-Cyclone Water Filtration

The Multi-Cyclone works on the basis of centrifugal water filtration. It

will separate the solids from the clear water. There are no moving parts
to wear and tear, and no filter media to clean or replace.

Simple maintenance

The Multi-Cyclone is easily cleaned by opening its purge valve. Only 15

liters of water is discharged to cleanse the Multi-Cyclone. Rejected
Waste water is back-washed( already with "TERKIS Green-DD Plus"
Organic Concentrate") back to the 1st Chamber to generate more
Beneficial Microorganisms.
6. Spin- Down Sediment Filter/Trapper

To ensure a clear filtered waste water,

we add an extra Spin-down Sediment
Filter/Trapper after the centrifugal
filtration system.
