SEARCH FOR ABA MODEL OF LEADERSHIP 2020

Guidelines:

1. The “Search for ABA Model of Leadership 2020” is now on our 5th Year of implementation with Ferndale
International School as the 1st recipient of the awards. The organization has awarded 165 awardees (Zamboanga City),
15 awardees (Sulu) and 75 awardees from Basilan Province.
2. The Founding Fathers of the Action Bridges Aspirations (ABA) Training Inc. seeks to honor outstanding student leaders
with amazing stories from partner schools and communities in Region IX and ARMM.
3. Only Partner schoolS can avail the said awards. Partner School means a school that have availed the services of ABA
Trainings Inc. since 2015 through the conduct of Leadership Trainings, Recollections/ Retreats/ Formation Sessions
and Team Building Sessions for students and teachers/ faculty/ SUCs Officials and Employees. A school with no
trainings from ABA Trainings Inc. can form part of the Search with a commitment to be a partner school thereafter.
4. Application Process:
a. Any Graduating Students or Completer (Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School and College)
with amazing stories of Change and Transformation are hereby encouraged to apply for the said award
especially those who have attended ABA Leadership Trainings. Any Alternative Learning System (ALS)
Student can also be awarded provided one has completed a Leadership Training with ABA.
b. An applicant has to submit an accomplished Official Nomination Form and accompanied by a powerful
essay titled “My AMAZING STORY”, in printed, encoded or handwritten form. Essay shall be a maximum of
four pages and minimum of three pages.
c. Submission of the documents will be through email. Kindly forward all documents to
aldrinabdurahim@gmail.com on or before January 31‚ 2020 (12 o’clock midnight). Scanned documents are
preferred or photographed.
5. Screening Process:
a. All submitted documents will be assessed and evaluated by an Initial Committee composed of ABA Model of
Leadership Honorees since 2015, ABA Trainings Executive Officers and Managers.
b. Qualified applicants will advance to the Final Round of Interview after ABA Trainings Inc. have posted the
list of passed applicants via ABA Trainings Inc. Facebook page and duly notified to the applicants
themselves, School Coordinators and School Principal/ Heads of SUCs.
c. The Final Interview will be conducted on a specified date agreed upon. Each category will have a separate
Panel of Judges. Final Results will be notified first to the School’s Division of Zamboanga City, Isabela City,
Lamitan City, Maluso Municipality and Sulu before the final announcement and notification to the
awardees. Posting of the results to Social Media will be final and executory. The decision of ABA Trainings
Inc. will be respected.

6. Awarding Ceremony:
a. Recipients will be honored during the ABA Trainings Inc. Anniversary Special as well as School’s Graduation
Ceremony.
