100 g/82 yd; 100% long staple combed cotton yarn with a matte finish Super Bulky

Or compare the yarn weight (Super Bulky). Compare tensions, knit a swatch, and be
sure that you are using the 5(US 8) size of needles. If you change the yarn weight or
needle size you change the size of the diaper cover.

Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed below - every knitter's gauge is
unique

Gauge:
Garter Stitch using size 5 needle 14 st and 23 row- 10 cm

KEYS:
SSK = slip, slip, knit / knit 2 stitches together (Left slanting)
K2tog = knit two together (Right slanting )
p2tog = purl two together
K = knit
p =purl
YO = yarn over (Take the yarn over the needle.)
** = repeat directions between **
WS = wrong side
RS = right side

for about 2 inch (or however long you’d like your band to be).
