Notes:-
a) All the works must be implemented in accordance with the Iraqi General Technical Specifications (I.G.T.S.) published by Ministry of Housing and
Reconstruction/ Republic of Iraq, the drawings, contract documents and instructions of the Engineer.
b) All the works and materials must be approved by the project manager Engineer.
c) The materials shall be tested and approved by the National Centre of Construction Laboratories (NCCL).
d) The contractor must employ a permanent resident Engineer to be present at the project site during the implemented period.

e) The item description herein after means "Supply of all materials, manpower, transportation, equipment, tools, machinery, temporary works and all
the other works required", as approved by the Engineer.
f) In case of differences between bill of quantities and contract documents, the drawings will govern. Unless requirements of the Engineer are
presented.
g) Please, read all the documents carefully then price it.
h) The Contractor must visit the site before pricing.
i)It is the duty of the contractor to check the designs for accuracy and adequacy, otherwise the Employer take no risk of the contractors failure to the
accomplish of the work.
j) The Contractor shall remove and throw all debris outside the municipal boundaries.

Site preparation & Earth works : Provide manpower &

machines to clean the site from water collecting , breaking
and excavate a sewerage with dimensions of 400ML.

Manholes works : Construction of manholes with
dimensions (1.2 * 1.2)m. All the works will be done
according to the technical specifications and supervisor
engineer. The item will include:-
 Provide materials and manpower for laying a layer of
boulder with 20cm thickness and casting the base with
ordinary concrete 20cm thickness above a layer of BRC,
and construction of walls by using concrete block
(15*20*40)cm , 40 cm thickness by using cement and

cement sand mortar ( 1:3) with thickness not less than
2cm, and painting inside manhole with two layers of
Flincot, then casting the top(slab) of the sewerage with
concrete C20, 20cm thickness ,using steel bar

dimensions (1.2*1.2)m, with providing and installing a(
net cast iron) cover at the top of the manhole and stair for
maintenance.

Inlet manholes (40*60)cm:- Supply materials and

construction walls by solid concrete block (15*20*40)cm,
20cm thickness, the work includes these items:- (laying a
layer of crushed stone 10cm thickness with good watering
and compaction, casting the foundation of manholes with
ordinary concrete 20cm thickness, construction with

corrugated pipe(PE) with diameter 40cm between inlets
and manhole, the work include covering sides of the pipe

sewerage with the old one, backfilling the sides of the
