I. Training Needs Assessment

What are the motivations for the assessment? (the answer may help you to answer
the (2) in the assignment brief)

How do you conduct training needs assessment at your organization?

II. Job Specifications

Hopefully at the end of the training needs assessment, you will know what job you
should focus on.

If you choose the job first, then what is your motivation for focusing that job? The
structure would be a little different. Your answer to this question will probably
inform the (2) in the assignment brief.

Please note: the job specifications part is for training and development purpose, as
a result you will need to tailor, don’t copy and paste the whole job description in here
with unrelated contents.

III. Training and Development Proposal

This should include the design of your training or development programs proposal.

Explain each of your choice of design with reference to appropriate HR models or


your needs assessment results or other relevant arguments/legal factors/etc.

IV. Potential Outcomes and Evaluation

How would you evaluate the proposed program (reference to a suitable evaluation
model)? What would be expected outcomes/benefits?
