Dear Dr. Gomez,

Good day!

The Student Nurses’ Association has organized the annual Cake Fiesta
celebration on October 4, 2019 from 1-5PM at the Henry Noble Gymnasium. Selling
of raffle tickets will be done prior to the event, which gives the students a chance to win
a variety of treats during the program.
This annual event will also serve as the pre-pageant for the Mr. & Ms. SLCN
2019-2020 and showcase a talent competition to discover performers in SLCN.
Candidates from different levels will showcase their talents in front of the student body
and will be judged accordingly.
We are humbly asking your good office for the approval of this said event.

Attached to this letter is the event concept, and budget proposal.

Event Concept Proposal

I. Objectives
 To celebrate the annual Cake Fiesta as part of the SLCN tradition.
 To introduce each batch to the college, building “ate-kuya” dynamics and to get to
know each other specially the first year students.
 To raise school spirit and provide a means of diversion and enjoyment.
 To facilitate mini-raffle draws participated by all batches to encourage
sportsmanship, bonding, and unity within the college.
 For SNA officers, head committees, and members to practice their effectiveness
in fulfilling their respective roles.

II. Introduction
SLCN Annual Cake Fiesta celebration is a way of expressing our gratitude and
happiness for the next semester. It has been a part of tradition at SLCN to raise funds for
future SNA events. Students from different levels of SLCN are gathered together and
encourage to participate the program. Exciting and fun-filled games will be put together
for the students to enjoy. Selling of raffle tickets will be done prior to the event, which
gives the students a chance to win a variety of treats during the program.
