OBJECTIVES (i) write text of “A Day in the Life of Figure Skater” in cursive writing.
(ii)rearrange scrambled letters to form word the letters in correct spellings.

ACTIVITIES Pre-lesson
1. Teacher writes a letter in the air and asks pupils to guess the letter.
2. Teacher writes a word in the air and asks pupils to guess the word.
Lesson development
1. Teacher shows video clip on Youtube about cursive writing.

2. Pupils get into groups.
3. Teacher distributes scrambled letters and papers to every group.
4. Teacher asks pupils to rearrange the letters into words and paste on a
piece of paper.
5. Pupils read aloud the words
6. Pupils write on a piece of paper the word they got in cursive writing.
7. Pupils show their cursive writing to the class.
Post-lesson
1. Teacher asks pupils to refer to their textbook on page 8.
2. Teacher distributes two different sets of worksheet (top target and
supported target).
3. Pupils write the whole text on worksheet in cursive writing (top
target).
4. Pupils write 5 phrases on worksheet in cursive writing (supported
target).
5. Teacher checks the pupils answer.
