AJ & ANDRHEA : Welcome to ____!
ANDRHEA : So aj, what do we have for today?
AJ : Well, we all know that the use of social media is very rampant nowadays especially to the
millenials out there. One of the most popular social media platform is Facebook and i think
almost everyone are engaged in using it.
ANDRHEA : I certainly agree to that idea! Personally, I also use facebook for leisure time and it
also serves as a tool of communication for me.
AJ : With that, we have invited two guest researchers who will share some information and
discoveries about the famous social media platform which is Facebook.
ANDRHEA : Let us all welcome Ms. Marielle Cruz and Mr. Sean Jordan!
AJ : We are happy to have you both here in our show and we are very excited to gain knowledge
about your researches.
ANDRHEA : To make it more interesting, we have prepared some reactions that you will use to
answer our questions.
AJ : First and foremost, what did prompted you to write and research about Facebook?
SEAN : *raise reaction* I wanted to see the benefits and advantages of using this social media
platform that will help everyone especially they are fond of using it.
AJ : How about you, ma’am?
MARIELLE : *raise reaction* On contrary, I am curious about the different harmful effects that
it brings us that impacts our lives.
ANDRHEA : May I ask you what are your dispositions?
MARIELLE : As a person, I tend to be somewhat pessimistic that is why I see the negative side
of things.
ANDRHEA : How about you, Mr. Jordan?
SEAN : Honestly, I always choose to see the brighter side of life and the positive effects of a
certain thing to people.
AJ : To make our viewers enlightened, what is the central claim of your texts or researches?
MARIELLE : *raise reaction* My research refers to the negative effects of Facebook especially
to students who tend to allot their time using this and making it their priority instead of doing
school works and other important things.
SEAN : *raise reaction* Some people experience positive effects while using facebook as it
helps them to market their products, communicate with their loved ones, boost their self-esteem
and express their feelings.
ANDRHEA : I agree to the both sides of the argument. How about you aj, do you share the same
sentiments with them?
AJ : As a facebook user, it contributes a huge help in my life as it makes it easier to
communicate and express my feelings. Also, I discovered many things and new information that
helped me to be more knowledgeable about life. It also provides different activities for social
interaction. How about you?
ANDRHEA : Also, as a user, It greatly affected my life. There was a time wherein I became
very addicted that my life revolves only around Facebook through watching videos, scrolling
through my timeline and reading others’ post which resulted into waste of time. The way of
communication also did changed and the sincerity became less.
AJ : Oh i see. For the last question, do you think each others evidences and reasonings are
sufficient and valid? Are there evident flaws?
SEAN : On Ms. Marielle’s text, supporting details are evidently presented. However, you should
elaborate the given ideas and provide concrete examples to make it more accurate.
MARIELLE : While on Mr. Sean’s text, there is an abundant information about the advantages
and benefits of using facebook but ideas are no explained well and there is no organization.
ANDRHEA : Alright, thank you for all the information and recommendations on each other’s
