Guideline National Dental Physiology Quiz

13th Dentistry Scientific Meeting 2019

I. General Requirement
1. Participants are Dental Bachelor Student.
2. Each team may consist 3 to 5 members of pre-clinical or clinical dental students,
with maximum of 2 clinical students.
3. Each team will represent their University.
4. Participants must obey the rules.
5. Participants who do not meet the requirements will be disqualified.

II. Registration Mechanism

1. Participants must fill the form which can be downloaded through:
bit.ly/FormulirPendaftaran_NDPQ
2. Participants must complete the administration on:
a. Early bird registration : May 6 – May 29, 2019
Rp 250.000,00
b. Regular registration : June 1 – September 8, 2019
Rp 275.000,00
Registration fee can be transferred to BNI account number 0578 763703 on
behalf of Nisrina Agustia Iswara. Confirm your payment to the contact
person below to get the registration number.

3. Participants must also submit :
 Scan of transfer slip (file format: jpg)
 Registration form (file format: jpg)
 Scan of student card (file format: jpg)

The files must be compressed into a .rar format and sent to

lombadsm2019@gmail.com with subject “DSM 2019 – NDPQ – Full Name of
Team Leader – Institution”

4. Participants must later confirm the email to contact person of NDPQ maximal 24
hours after submission with format :
Full Name of Team Leader_NDPQ Registration Submission_Institution

III. Rules of NDPQ Competition

1. Participants who are allowed to compete are those who have registered following
our registration rules.
2. Participants who have registered cannot resign without acceptable reason. If the
participant withdraws without acceptable reason, the team will be disqualified.
3. Participants are prohibited to bring electronic devices such as mobile phone and
laptop.
4. Participants are prohibited to bring calculator.
5. Participants are prohibited to discuss with other teams.

IV. Quiz Mechanism

NDPQ Competition consist of 3 Rounds:
1. First Round (True/False Question)
 In this first round, 5 members of the team will answer 100 questions together.
 This round is about 90 minutes.
 There will be True/False questions in this session.
Correct answer: +1
Incorrect answer: -1
No answer: 0
 Twelve (12) teams with the highest score in this session will proceed to the next
round.

2. Second Round (Oral Session)

 In the second round, any 3 members of the team will be on stage.
 The first question will be asked to first student from Team A. The student must
answer within 20 seconds.
 3 points will be given for correct answer. No points will be given for no answer
and incorrect answer. If the answer from is wrong, the question will be given to
the next team.
 The allowed member to answer are the first students of the other teams, after
pressing the bell.
 The team who answered will be given 2 points for correct answer and will be
taken of 1 point if the answer is wrong.
 The second question is addressed to first student from Team B and so on.
 Three (3) teams with the highest scores from second round will proceed to the
final round.

3. Final Round (Oral Session)

 The system of final round will be same with second round
 There will be 9 questions asked in the final round.
 The first question will be asked to first student from Team A. The student must
answer within 20 seconds.
 3 points will be given for correct answer. No points will be given for no answer
and incorrect answer. If the answer from is wrong, the question will be given to
the other two teams.
 The allowed member to answer are the first students of the other two teams,
after pressing the bell.
 The team who answered will be given 2 points for correct answer and will be
taken of 1 point if the answer is wrong.
 The second question is addressed to first student from Team B and so on.

Note:

 Participants must do and obey the rules.

 Quiz Mechanism may change, depending on the number of teams that register to
take part in this competition.
 The decision from judges and committee is absolute and cannot be contested.
