I. OBJECTIVES
 Analyze the message of the poem
 Appreciate the relevance of the literary selection in the modern society
 Create their own poem about their experience in discrimination.

A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of how respect and equality
reflect on the story and how the poem serve as sources of wisdom in
expressing and resolving conflicts on how to use the language of
research, campaigns and advocacies and how to use evaluative reading
and listening activities.
B. Performance The learner transfers learning through valuing the essence of equality
Standard and avoid discrimination, giving expanded meaning of the words in the
poem, and evaluating literature as a source of wisdom in expressing and
resolving conflicts that may also be encountered in real life situations.
