ABSTRACT

This citronella mosquito repellent is a bio-based mosquito repellent that is more

effective and cheaper, environment friendly and non-hazardous to the environment.
This plant has much stronger aroma that droves away mosquitoes. The researcher made
a bio-based product to solve the problem against mosquitoes that is safer and cheaper
to use and this can be made at home than buying a chemical formulated mosquito
repellent that cause irritation in the skin, problems in nervous system, rashes, swelling,
eye irritation and other serious problems to children.

The objectives of this study are following: a) manufacture a mosquito killer

made of citronella oil; b) identify the procedure in making citronella as an alternative
mosquito killer; c) discuss the effects of citronella to the mosquitoes.

To successfully bring about the objectives if the study, the researchers conducts
their research in the classroom of Our Lady of Fatima
