OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson,
1. Pupils will be able create 7 to 10 sentences using Simple Present Tense.
2. Pupil will be able to list 6 to 10 of their mom and dad’s daily routine
3. Pupil will be able to ask about and give information about themselves by using simple present tense.

I. PRE-LESSON
Engage
1. Teacher writes the objectives of the lesson.
2. Teacher starts lesson by listing out my daily routine on the board by using an i- Think Map (Flow Map)
3. On each spot, teacher will write her daily routine according to order starting with “I wake up at 5.30 every morning”
4. Teacher will ask pupils, how are your families routine?
5. Only one pupil is needed volunteer to list the 6 routines of ONE family member.
6. Teacher will highlight to pupils to use “He, She” to begin their sentences
7. Pupils must find a partner and pair up through Think- Write-Pair-Share (Genosis) activity.
8. Pupils are needed to create a diary consisting daily routines of their mother and father.
9. In a pair, pupil A will write about Mother’s routine while Pupil B will write about their father’s routine.
10. Pupils will be given 10 minutes to discuss and make a list of routine.
11. The list should only consist of 5 to 7 daily routines. Pupils are needed to write into their Grammar book.
12. Pupil will be given 10 minutes to complete their list to present to the class.
13. Based on the list made, pupils are required to present their families routine by using third person singular simple
present tense. E.g. “She wakes up at 6 every morning”, “He drives to work every day”
13. Pupils also must end their presentation by saying “Thank you Mom, Thank you Dad”
14. Teacher will assist on any writing difficlties

ii. POST-LESSON
Evaluate
i. Teacher will conclude the lesson with recap of the Civic values which is Mutual Respect and Care
Towards Families.
ii. Teacher will ask pupil to write a One Minute Essay (Formative Assessment) to review what they have
learned.
iii. Teacher will collect the Essay for future references.
