judgment. What are the 3 things you
need to consider in order to come up In order to come up with a good judgment, we need to
with good judgment? ask questions, make connections and form an opinion.

A. Motivation
It seems like you’ve mastered the last
topic; therefore, I will introduce you to
another interesting lesson.
But before that, let’s first have a game.
It’s called “find your perfect match.”
I have here statements of cause and
effect.

The first half of the class will receive the

cause statements while the other half
will receive the effect statements. I will
let you walk around the classroom to
find your perfect match. You have to do
this silently because if not, you’ll be
eliminated in the game. You have 3
minutes to do so. After 3 minutes,
everyone has to go back to their proper
seats.
Do you have questions?
None, ma’am.

If none, your 3 minutes start now.

Cause: I never brush my teeth
Effect: I have 5 cavities
Cause: He broke his arm
Effect: The doctor put it in a cast
Cause: A basketball player was traveling
Effect: The referee called a penalty

is our topic for today? Our topic for today is about perceiving cause and effect
relationship.

have a good judgment just like in our
previous discussion. We have to see the
relationship of things; its cause and
effect.
I have here a selection.

Victor’s New Year Resolutions

Get up on time every morning. If I oversleep, I have to
hurry getting dressed, eating and going to school.
Eat a good breakfast, I often feel dull and sleepy by late
morning.
Pay close attention to my school subjects. In that way I
will learn what I have to know now, and I will be
prepared for subjects to come.
Do my chores right away in the afternoon.
If I put them off, I do them in a hurry and often have to
do them again.
Play with my younger brother, Norman, every day. He
looks up to me and he gets upset if I don’t spend enough
time with him.

What are the things that Nathan will

have to do according to his resolutions?
To get up early.
To eat a good breakfast.
To pay close attention to his school subjects.
