B. Compare the different strands and tracks to themselves and
C. Create a drawing or sketches that shows your future profession based on the tracks that they will be
chose.

1. Prayer
Let us all stand for a prayer. Kindly lead the Dear Lord and Father of all,
prayer.

Thank you for ways in which you provide for us all. For
Your protection and love we thank you.
Help us to focus our hearts and minds now on what we are
about to learn.
Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write.
Guide us by your eternal light as we discover more about
the world around us.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus.

Good Morning, Class! Good Morning, Mam!

3. Classroom Management
Before you sit down, I want you to imagine
that you’re a bird, spread your arms. Now ( students will pick up the pieces of paper and arrange the
fly up! Fly up! chairs )

pieces of paper under your chair and
arrange your chair properly.

4. Checking of Attendance
Take a look at our attendance battery. It is
empty. ( The leaders of the group will stand to put the charge on
the battery to know who are the absentees for the day )
Leaders of each group kindly stand up and
look at your members. Put a charge on the
battery if your group is complete and report
to me if not.

Wow! It seems that we are full charge for


today. This deserves a “Good Job Clap”.

C. Method
1. Activity

Now I will group you into 4. Each group I will


assigned you a corresponding topics that you will
discussed in your group member for only 3 minutes
then present in front of the class the maximum
time is only 5minutes.

Possible topics to picked:


Group 1: STEM

STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and


Mathematics) it is an intertwining disciplines when we
applied in the real world.
The courses would be: Pilot, an Architect, a Chemist,
A Nurse and a lot more.

Group 2: HUMMS

HUMMS ( Humanities and Social Sciences)


The learners aim to take up journalism, communication
arts, liberal arts, education and social related courses in
College.

Group 3: GAS
GAS( General Academics Strands)
It is the most flexible strand among the four strands offered
in the Academic Track because students get to learn and
experience.
GAS is essentially for students who are undecided on which
strand to take.

Group 4: ABM
ABM( Accounting, Business and Management)
It is the most fundamental sense refers to the
accountancy, business, and management academic
programs.

2. Analysis
What are the factors that affect the students in
choosing their tracks in SHS?
Mam I think there is a lot of factors that affects the
students in choosing their tracks one of them is their
family problem, financial or even their peer.

Is K-12 curriculum helping the 21st century learners?


Mam I think yes, because it gives the student more time in
studies and to focus on the tracks they chose.

(the students will answer according to what they have


learned)

3. Abstraction
What are the different strand in Senior High
School?
( ABM, HUMMS, GAS, and STEM )

What are the different specialization subject


in SHS? It depends on the tracks they chose for ABM it specialize
in business management.
For STEM it specialize in Science, technology and
Economics
For GAS, they are the students who’s still undecided to
their course.
And for HUMMS, humanities and Social sciences )
What courses can you apply when you chose
HUMMS?
Mam, you can choose BSED, BEED, journalism,
communication arts and liberal arts.

Application
And now I will give papers and draw something that
is related to the assigned topic and on the other
hand draw what profession you would take if you
will be given a chance.
