LEARNING FEEDBACK DIARY

(SEMINAR)

I. Insights of the Day

In our seminar last February 4, 2020, I have learned a lot of things and learning that we

will apply in our future destination. In that day, I become more knowledgeable about the

topic they discuss that is align to my future and dream course, because of the discussion

of the two speakers it enlightens me and inspire me to achieve our desires in life for our

success. They give some tips and also their challenges in achieving what they are now

and how they cope up that challenge and that inspires me so much.

I have learned a lot of discoveries, like in their topics that enlighten us to study hard and

work harder for our goals in life and one thing that stay in my mind is that “failure is not

the sign to give up” because if you fail, you need to do it again and again in order to get

what you want, don’t be afraid to try again because the outcome will be better and bonus

if you get a lot of your plans in life.

II. Challenges/Difficulties Encountered

The challenges assigned to me are: first, is to do the certificate that we will give to the

guest speakers. Second, I help my classmates to go to the public market, grocery store,

and to cook the food we will be serving and we will eat. Lastly, I am assigned to be an

usherette.

III. Action Taken to the Challenges/ Difficulties

In the first challenge, I am not totally expert to do certain certificates especially that

certificate will be given to the guest speakers so I did my best to do that and to make sure

that ma’am and sir will appreciate it. In the second challenge, only three of us went to the

grocery store and to the public market, we are all girls, when we finished buying we had

a problem with how we were going to carry it because we bought so much good for 100

people so we decided to leave it there in a grocery store and we will return and pick it

after buying in the market, so when we already reached the market, we went upstairs and

went to chicken and meat parts in order to buy for seasoning, we carry out also a lot of

plastic bag for the seasonings of the food we already eat. Then we return to the grocery

store and get the one we already purchased then after that we went in front of the school

to pick up the tarpaulin. Then we return to school again to give the tarpaulin because it is

needed for the display in front. Then we go to the house of my classmate to cook and

prepare for the sandwich. lastly, I overcome that challenge in order to maintain and

improve my communication skills and to assist the visitors to go in their respective areas

that is assigned to them.

IV. Theory Related

I would like to connect the theory of Sister Carolina Agravante SPC, because which is the

so-called Transformative Leadership Theory. Because we can apply this concept by being

passionate about our craft. We can also show willingness to impart our acquired

knowledge in a selfless way. This theory aims to promote self- discovery by knowing

strengths and weakness as well as to practice controlling internal thought processes that

will eventually influence emotions, ideas and behaviors. In order to become a good leader,

we need to know ourselves first, before we will lead others in order for us to lead them in

a good and a proper way.
