About Trinity
To better what was good, to exceed expectations and to
accomplish all of this with great acclaim is the true goal of
Trinity. Making TRINITY 2019 bigger and better was nothing
short of a challenge.

Emulating a model conceived by our seniors, we set out to recreate

a research-based international conference that subscribed to the
highest standards, while still retaining its unique flavour of
student innovation. Organized entirely by students as a platform
for the students, Trinity 2019 witnessed the showcasing of original
undergraduate and postgraduate research, from the disciplines of
Medicine, Dentistry, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, all
of this under the aegis of MUHS, lending fervour to an audaciously
young idea.
The response was phenomenal; the participation, unprecedented.

Papers, Posters, Cases and Symposia by hundreds of participants

who battled it out for the top spots. Orations by reputed medical
personalities served to inspire tomorrow’s health care providers.

Trinity 2014 was honoured to have the Late Hon. Ex-President Dr.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam who inspired the ‘ignited minds’ of medical
students and appreciated the arenas of research explored in
Trinity 2014.

Trinity 2015 witnessed B.C. Roy National Awardee and Limca

Book Record Holder, Dr. O.P. Kapoor’s spectacular session on the
importance of general examination.

Trinity 2016 was graced by a plethora of speakers including the

likes of an eminent cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Anvay Mulay, a
leading orthopaedic, Dr. Ram Chaddha, a distinguished paediatric
cardiologist, Dr. Rajesh Shenoy and many other illustrious
personalities.

like Padma Bhushan Awardee, Dr. Laud, Padma Shri Awardee,
Dr. A S Soin, Dr. Nozer Sheriar, Dr. R K Anand, Dr. Anita Patel,
Dr. Yusuf Matcheswalla and others who swept us off our feet
with their insightful talks.

Trinity 2018 saw the progression of our conference from a national

to an international stage. Numerous delegations from countries
like Spain, Philippines, Morocco, Uganda, South Korea and Turkey
attended and witnessed a number of eminent speakers such as
Padma Bhushan Awardee, Dr. Farokh Udwadia, Padma Shri
Awardee, Dr. Prakash Kothari and Major Dr. Surendra Poonia
share their knowledge and experiences with a crowd of eager
doctors and students.

Trinity 2019 played host to the likes of Drs. Prakash and

Mandakini Amte, stalwarts in the field of Social service and
recipients of the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award for the
same. Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Deputy Director General of
Programmes at the World Health Organisation gave an
engaging video talk. Dr. Khusrav Bajan, Dr. Mrudula Phadke,
Dr. Nina Madnani, Dr. Rajesh Parikh, Dr. Hitendra Mahajan
and Surg. Commodore Vivek Hande also enlightened the
audience with their orations.

Trinity 2020 promises to outdo its predecessors, as this

prestigious conference completes a decade of excellence.

In 2010, a legend, TRINITY, was born, and now it’s time to carry
on the legacy. The three days of the conference lent new vigour to
the TRINITY motto – “THINK, TESTIFY, TRIUMPH”. Above all,
it reiterated that even students are proficient at brainstorming,
