BUSINESS IDEA PRESENTATION (10%)

INTRODUCTION
The business idea presentation, business plan assignment, business practical and final
presentation are essentially the components required for MGC3012. Students are required to
form a group consisting of 5 to 6 people. Your group is required to generate at least ONE (1)
idea (product or service). Your proposed idea has to be targeted at the consumer and it must be
feasible to be produced and marketed. It is important that your product concept show how
innovative it is in comparison to the available alternatives and what value it can specifically
provide to the target market. Your group is also required to do a business idea presentation in
a group. A copy of presentation slides must be submitted to the respective lecturer.
The following information should be included in the presentation:
- Business Model Canvas (BMC)
- Name/type of product/service proposed and the technologies used (if applicable)
- Target market
- Names of the competitors and their competing alternatives
- Proposed price of the product or service
- Illustration of the product (if applicable)
- Sample/Prototype of the product (if applicable)
- Other relevant information
