A. Involvement
The event has been organized by the ICpEP– National Officers with the
cooperation of the other ICpEP.se officers of every affiliate schools from different
regions nationwide.
B. Experience
The National Convention of the Institute of the Computer Engineers of the
Philippines is conducted annually for the CpE professionals and students to be
updated with the current trends in computerization and Information and
Communications Technology. This is also an avenue of the CpE students to
showcase their knowledge and skills in the different CpE Challenges such as Quiz
Bowl, Programming, Logic Breadboarding, and Robotics.
D. Development Strategy
The ICpEP-National Chapter gears towards the holistic development of the
Computer Engineering students who should be well–equipped on the development
of Computer Engineering Industry by broadening their knowledge, enhancing their
skills, building up coordination, and practicing ethics by means of actively
participating academe and non–academe related activities that will be conducted
during the ICpEP Nationa Convention, National CpE Challenge and 2018 General
Assembly.
VI. Objectives
1. To expand knowledge and share up–to–date ideas, trends of today’s fast growing
and evolving digital age;
2. To discover our members’ skills, strengths, capabilities and enhance them.
3. Promotes proper attitude and coordination to make the work easily done, and to
be more productive and useful to the society as a computer.
Planning:
The officers of the ICpEP – National already planned for the activities
beforehand and thus, disseminating the date, and venue were done through the
Regional Chapter Representatives.
Preparation:
Computer Engineering week celebration was held and the winners of the CpE
Challenge competed for the regionals. As a Result, our contenders of the ROBOTICS
competition won and they will be representing R1 in the National CpE challenge.
Implementation:
The event will be implemented under the approval of Commission on Higher
Education (CHED) and will strictly follow its rules and regulation with the
supervision of the Personnel in Charge
The ICpEP National Convention, National CpE Challenge and 2019 General
Assembly will be successfully conducted without any casualties and will not cause harm to
any participant or any member who organized the event; and that the objectives of this
event are met and students from the different schools in Region 1 have built camaraderie
among themselves and have enjoyed their participation throughout the day of the
Convention, Challenges and General Assembly.
