Our group is a group of committee members, so we take part in all section and pre-
program activities. For overall reviews, we have successfully run this program without any
undesirable problems.

KidSafe Program has provided educational resources and professional development to

teachers and childhood educators throughout SK Sabak Uni, Parit Raja Johor. This Program
is funded and delivered in partnership with University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The
program provides road safety education information, resources, advice and other strategies to:

a) Educators in early childhood services and transition-to-school programs

b) Early childhood education students in universities

c) Peak early childhood and road safety organisations

In this program, the level we focus on is the 10 and 11 -year-old school students. Our
group has a total of 17 students who became our respondents on that day. The program has
gained consensus and cooperation between the school and the university to launch awareness
programs for students.

In this program, our objective is to provide as much understanding as possible to

students regarding road regulations and laws in Malaysia. We emphasize them, especially in
the areas they often use every day go to school. In addition, we provide exposure on the type
of signage available in Malaysia through a game to them. A bit of exposure to them if they
violate road rules like not wearing helmets, they will be fined for the offense.

Our objective is also to see how effective our program is to the changes made by our
respondents, students of SK Sabak Uni, Parit Raja, Johor. We hope the effectiveness of this
program will be effective for future school children.

The effectiveness we expect is from the end of the program as most of them will share
the information that they learned to their family.

These changes can be measured through observation and statistical accidents in this
area in the future and making comparisons with accident statistics in the present. From there
we can know whether it is positive or negative to the effectiveness of this program.
