I am Rajat Lunawat, a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Student graduating in the summer

of 2021. As a highly motivated and dedicated student with strong communication and
management skills, I would like to apply for a seat at the Placement unit.

As President of BITS-Embryo I have been extensively involved in several activities that

correlate directly with PU’s work. During Apogee Innovation Challenge, I worked closely with
several companies getting them on board for providing internships for the students. Having
led a team of 30 individuals, I know the essence of teamwork. As the sponsorship lead of
Extropy, I have interacted with several HR’s and in the process learnt the manner of
professional communication to some extent. Being a part of the Athletics Team for three
years, I understand the importance of discipline, hard-work and commitment. All my
Position of Responsibilities during my time at BITS have allowed me to develop strong
interpersonal and communication skills that will further aid me to perform my duties as a
member of the PU successfully
I believe that I have a lot to offer the committee. I am keen to develop my professional skills
