WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE


A work breakdown structure (WBS) is a key project deliverable
that organizes the team's work into manageable sections. The
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) defines the
work breakdown structure as a "deliverable oriented
hierarchical decomposition of the work to be executed by the
project team." The work breakdown structure visually defines
the scope into manageable chunks that a project team can
understand, as each level of the work breakdown structure
provides further definition and detail.

GANTT CHART
▫ a Gantt chart is a visual view of tasks scheduled over time. Gantt
charts are used for planning projects of all sizes and they are a
useful way of showing what work is scheduled to be done on a
specific day.

▫ EARLY START (ES) – EARLIEST ANY ACTIVITY CAN START
▫ EARLY FINISH (EF) - EARLIEST ANY ACTIVITY CAN FINISH
▫ LATE START (LS) – LATEST TIME THE ACTIVITY CAN START AND NOT
DELAY THE PROJECT
