Before starting work operate lift manually & observe for correct operation. Sign:

Safety:
Check operation of all emergency stops.
Check operation of fortress interlocks.
Check security of red aisle access stops.

Access Equipment:
Check access ladder.
Check servicing areas & service hatch.
Check frame work fixings.

Electrical
Check security of main switch cabinet and change panel filters.
Visually check wiring for signs of damage.
Check all lights are working on the traffic lights.
Check fan functionality.

Lift Platform: LIFT 1 LIFT 2


Check security of LHD.
Check alignment of sensors and clean reflectors.
Check condition and operation of motorized roller .
Check condition of black link belts.
Check condition of all eccentric guide rollers.
Check side guide rollers.
Lift: LIFT 1 LIFT 2
Check operation and listen for adverse noise.
Check condition of Y axis belt.
Check belt centrality on deflection elements.
Remove drive unit cover and inspect the drive for wear & tear.
Lower LHD onto chock at 1.5 metres, release drive coupling & record tension.
Check condition of motor coupling & torque to 72NM.
Check joint fixings on vertical mast (8 per joint).
Check gearbox for obvious leaks.
Check of all floor mounting bolts.
Check the energy chain and track.
Check that the isolator is working correctly.
Check operation of brake motor and clean..
Check the buffer stops.
Check security of trunking and conduits

Check condition of reflectors and sensors.
Check condition and operation of motorized roller.
Check condition of black link belts.
Check alignment of transfer plate.
Clean busbar rail up to Red safety barrier
