ROGER LEROY MILLER

Professor Miller graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from the
University of California at Berkeley where he was a National Science Foundation
Fellow and Woodrow Wilson Honor Fellow and won the Departmental Prize in
Economics. His Ph.D. in Economics is from the University of Chicago where he was
a Lilly Honor Fellow. Dr. Miller then became a member of the faculty in the
Department of Economics at the University of Washington. Later he became a
Professor of Economics at the University of Miami where he was a founder of the
Law and Economics Center. Miller has published articles in the American
Economic Review and other journals and is nationally noted as the author of
leading economics textbooks; he focuses on how to enhance economics
communication for college students.

About Roger LeRoy Miller


Roger LeRoy Miller received his PhD from the University of Chicago. He is
currently Director of the Institute for University Studies in Arlington, Texas. Dr.
Miller is a legal specialist and author of numerous books on law and the legal
environment, including criminal procedure. In addition, Dr. Miller has authored
books on the war on drugs, the economics of crime and criminal behavior, and on
related topics
