1. All International rules are followed except LBW.
2. If the ball touches the tree or their leaves then it will be considered as boundary. 3. Three players from Ist Year must be in playing 11, it is compulsory for all teams. 4. Umpire’s decision is the final decision in the match. 5. If any franchise fails to buy minimum 16 players in its given amount 1600 points then all its purchased players will again be in bidding and then 1000 points will be provided to the team for bidding and they have to buy minimum 16 players and the remaining 600 points will be equally divided to other teams. 6. Reporting time for the teams is 03:30 PM and match starts at 03:45 PM and if the team fails to reach on timing then bye will be given to the opponent team. It is Strictly followed. 7. Minimum 9 players should be present in the running match and if any player is missing and its substitute is playing then if the player fails to reach till the completion of 3 overs, his substitute will be regarded as a player. 8. On holidays match timings will be decided by the management and any change in the fixture will be decided by the management. 9. Every team will be given One ball by the management team for practice for the whole tournament. 10. League matches will be of 10 Overs and Overs for Semi-Finals & Final Match will be decided by management. 11. Minimum 4 bowlers must be used by the team in every match. 12. First two overs of the innings will be Power Play-1 and in last three overs any one over will be batting Power Play-2 which will be decided by bating team. Power Play-1 -------- 2 Players outside the circle. Power Play-2 -------- 3 Players outside the circle. 13. Any indiscipline act during the whole JPL will not be tolerated & disciplinary action will be taken by management team. 14. Only the rotation of the shoulder can be used to impart velocity to the ball – a bowler's arm must not extend during the bowling action. If the umpire deems that the ball has been thrown, they will call a warning and if it happens again then the bowler will be dismissed from bowling for the whole match and remaining over continues from the same ball by another bowler and further decision regarding bowler’s action will be decided by management. 15. Mankading Rule is not followed in JPL. 16. If the ball reaches to the roof or outside the college boundary it is the responsibility of franchise to bring the ball back. 17. Any further update regarding the rules will be decided by the management team.
