Project Title: Tree Planting ("Plant today, Save tomorrow!")

INTRODUCTION

Republic Act 9163 effective year 2001 provided the guidelines for the community
projects that students of NSTP (Immersion Activities) should undertake as required and
in accordance to the policy of the National Service Reserved Corps (NSRC).

Pursuant to the said Republic Act, the University allows AMA students to discuss with
you the proposed project cooperation with the campus, specifically services such as:

1. Cleaning of surroundings at the AMA


2. Planting trees at the AMA surrounding

Attached to this letter is the official list of students who are allowed to participate in the
said services.
Justification:

The AMA university of the Philippines is one of the country's highly competent
educational institutions. AMA UNIVERSITY sets standards and agendas that are keys
to improve the campus and one of these standards is to have a healthy and clean
environment that is why we propose to further impose these standards through an
organized student movement.

The objective is to plant trees in specific place in AMA Main Campus; To help in
enhancing the AMA Main Campus into more pleasant and cleaner school; To
disseminate information regarding tree-planting;

To make others become aware of the importance of our environment and natural
resources; And to create a sense of ecological responsibility and self-discipline.

OBJECTIVE:

"Plant today, Save tomorrow!" aims to:

1. promote and integrate environmental values among students and the communities;
2. inform the scout members about their environment and the means of protecting it;
3. promote the many benefits of local tree planting for both leaders and students.

around us can have tremendous benefits on the environment. Not only will you
help restore life quality in your community, contribute to the environment and help fight
climate change, but you will also set an example. Therefore, planting a beautiful tree is
always a good idea!.
